As gas prices rise, perhaps we should look to Brazil
The headlines today in Philly center on how some stations are running out of fuel. That accompanies a steady rise in prices that reached an average of $2.85 per gallon, according to the Philadelphia Inquirier.

I'm beginning to think we need to take a much closer look at what Brazil has done over the last 20 years. Brazil is now energy self-sufficient! There's lots of evidence to support this; it is reality, folks, yet it has received little or no attention from the mainstream media here in the US. (Are we all that deeply in the pockets of the oil companies?)
Maybe it is time for us to think about making the US the same way. Wouldn't that make problems like Iraq and Iran much less important? After all, most of the problems there center around oil, don't they?
