Wrestling with 9/11
Heath Widdowson's recent editorial "The Cold Hard 9/11 Truth" is something everyone should read.
He's a vet and someone who at first believed the official story (as did I and most people I know), but his instincts told him to investigate and he says the science of freefall and building demolition changed his mind.
Now, he believes much of the evidence that 9/11 was an inside job is staring us right in the face.
For many of my freinds, WTC 7 is what woke them up.
Widdowson goes on to make a very key point: that 9/11 first and foremost was a psychological operation.
He says: The truth is plain to see once one divorces oneself from the emotion of the event. A heightened emotional state is imperative for the success of any psychological operation, because emotions are active in the lower brain, distinct and separate from the higher analytical brain. Fear and anger are the assassins of logic.
In other words, the shock and emotion engendered by what we all saw made us both incapable of clear thinking and also very suggestible at the same time. Details we would normally notice go unseen.
He continues: There was too much emotion involved. For one to think rationally and critically, one cannot be in a heightened emotional state. This was the purpose of those planes hitting the buildings: shock and awe, fear, anger. In that state it’s easy to not see things right in front of your eyes. In that state it’s easy to be hypnotized, more susceptible to suggestion
If you think psy-ops are only the stuff of movies and Tom Clancy books, you probably should do a few simple Google searches. Not only are psy-ops an accepted part of modern warfare, their effectiveness is well documented.
I present this info as a rationale for taking another look at the evidence. Try to notice if there are things that you missed on that day, or in those first few months, due to how shocked you were.
I certainly was in no state of mind to see the truth back during that time. Like everyone else, I was devastated and numb and afraid.
But also remember: just because I can't imagine the evil mind that would attack its own people to advance a political agenda, that doesn't mean that such evil does not exist.
9/11 truth is about revisiting and seeing again. It's about a new, independent investigation.
