Law Professor lectures on why you should never talk to a police officer

This 27 minute video praises the 5th amendment, and stresses why no citizen should ever talk to a police officer.

I am a big fan of the right to remain silent.

Prof Duane persuasively argues that speaking to the police:

—will never help your case

—will not clear your name

—will not stop you from being arrested

—will always be used AGAINST you, but never for you

Alan Dershowitz has recently written a new book about how we should rethink the 5th Amendment.

I strenuously disagree.
