British kids urged to become "climate cops"
As bad as our society is getting in terms of fulfilling Orwell's big brother nightmares, the UK is consistently worse and ahead of the curve.
This latest is shocking, especially since most adults will at first see it as harmless.
Advertisements are currently promoting British kids to become "climate cops". This involves spying on their parents and reporting such "crimes" as: using a tumble dryer, leaving a door open (how evil) and not using energy saving lightbulbs, the very same that have to be left on all the time in order to actually save any energy, are bigger and heavier than traditional incandescent bulbs, require up to ten times as much energy to manufacture, use banned toxic materials, including mercury vapour, and are expected to cost the consumer millions in replacement of household fittings.
If you see this as harmless, then you haven't been paying attention to what I have been writing about.
Using our own youth against us is one of the main tenets of 1984. It was also a strategy utilized by Hitler.
But saving the earth is far more honorable than German racial superiority, you might say.
That is only true if you believe the earth really requires saving.
Once again, faulty assumptions lead to faulty conclusions.
