Nothing new about this. This technology has been used to help convict murderers - Scott Peterson comes to mind. If you want to be lost, turn your cell phone off. The benefits of this capability outweigh the negatives. If you don't want to be located, turn your phone off. Besides, who is really tracking this stuff unless it is proven later something happened?

Comment on Stanley Hilton claims George W. SH(inter: I did an interview with you, Alex (Jones who markets wacko world stuff), about a year and a half ago, and literally two weeks after that, I was contacted by the emissary of the chief judge of the federal court where I have the lawsuit. (San Francisco zoolu-land) And I was warned not to publicize it but to keep it quiet and threatened with discipline. And it remained quiet until a couple of months ago and then I got on the air on some programs and some publicity and July 1st, I was threatened directly by the chief judge here, threatened with court discipline. This particular judge has been circulating communiqués to the other federal judges(See below on Trott) seeking anything negative she can get against me to try and discipline me after I've been on the court here for 30 years with no disciplinary problems at all. This is suddenly happening. And her assistants who are on the committee of the court met with me on July 1st in Palo Alto, California, and threatened me directly. They handed me a copy of the lawsuit and said that the judge wants me to dismiss this. (it was toossd Soverign immuity, other groudns etc.)What's this? She doesn't like the content of it. This is politically incorrect. This is outside the norm. I said I represented more than 400 plaintiffs,(but the mass murders were in NYC),, how am I going to dismiss this case? And they threatened me directly and they said, "the next time you'll be disciplined." And also they've threatened me not to go public, etc. And this is just outrageous

Hilton went on the Alex Jones Air TX Radio show(Austin live), creating the impression he took depositions in his so called 911 FED suit. That was bull, just raw bull spread to America ), no such depositions were taken...Fed Judges on the 9th Circuit have manifestos about "the first to be guillotined", see right from 9th Circuit :
Shades of the days leading up to the French Revolution of 1789 when taxes were collected by a private concern called the "Ferme Generale," or "Tax Farm." The first to be guillotined in the Place de la Revolution during the incarnadine Reign of Terror were the hated private tax collectors who made a profit by collecting more from the public than the amount needed by the government. 1 One day, Inspector Fine uses the awesome power of the federal government to investigate you; the next, Mr. Fine uses the information he pries loose from you with that power to augment his bank account. Can anyone say when Inspector Fine wields the coercive tools of the government that he is also not working for himself? Dr. Jekyll one day, Mr. Hyde the next. Such an abuse could only cause the public to distrust government officials even more than the publi

Comment on Stanley Hilton claims George W. Good start. Now, where are the "incriminating documents". Very disturbing that they are not available. And in response to your challenge, how do we investigate this particular item? First, the report is hardly definitive about what "waste" is and more importantly, its not possible for all the activities of the government to be unfunded. No matter how off track things might be, that is simply not possible.

Comment on Europe recommends decriminalization of file sharing

You mention the NY times model. The big difference to me is that their "content" lasts for about a day. A song could last a lifetime. So I watch an ad to get my song. OK, then what? Can I forward along then to a 1000 of my friends who don't have to watch the ad? The model will undoubtedly change over time, but I can't stand the attitude of consumers who believe it is their right to have access to music for free. It is anti-capitalism. A song represents intellectual capital and its owner deserves to be compensated for its consumption. Any argument to this is ultimately a attempt to justify stealing. Would a different model be better, perhaps, but that doesn't justify stealing. This is like me saying that I don't think GM should charge for cars. They could build one that shows me ads at stop lights and I wouldn't have to pay for it. So I will steal one now while I wait for that business model to come about. Bullshit.
